 Sgt. Michael Dicky    Hq Battery  Forward Observer/Tank Commander.   Killed (14 Aug  44) by a direct hit from a mortar shell, near Gage, France.3   Buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Nuepre, Belgium. Plot B Row 7 Grave 9. 1

 

Sgt. Frederick Florio    Service Battery   Assistant  Battalion Ammo  NCO.5   Killed (19 Sept 44) in intense fighting manning his halftrack .50 cal. machine gun at an intersection in Biesdorf, Germany, 3  trying to get ammunition to the battalion position. 5   Recorded on Tablets of the Missing at Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.  1

 

     1st Lt. Alexander D. Fraser    Liaison Officer    Killed (27 Dec 44) during bombing of the 77thEvac Hospital while showering near Verviers, Belgium, in the Ardennes.  The bombs were dropped by a German Jet propelled ME262. 5     Buried in Massachusetts. 2

 

Sgt. Harold M. Freeman    Hq Battery      Killed (27 Dec 44) during bombing of the 77thEvac Hospital while showering near Verviers, Belgium, in the Ardennes.    The bombs were dropped by a German Jet propelled ME262.  5        Buried in Pennsylvania.2

 

Sgt. Ofield Jarrell    C Battery  Chief of Section   Accidentally drowned ( 27 April 45) in a lake near Arendsee;  Sgt. Russell was rescued by Pvt. Magdaleno but they were unable to save Sgt. Jarrell or recover his body. 5
